I love filming my research and writing process. In my books, I try to explain what my home country, Finland, looks like as best I can, but in these videos you can get an even better glimpse of what it's really like.
And maybe a tip or two about writing, too!
This is where I wrote a big part of “Lumi & the Wolf”. It’s my dad’s cottage by a lake!

My mum and I travelled to Lapland to learn as much as possible about wolves and other wild animals.
I visited a Sámi museum to find out more about Oskár’s heritage. Then Mum and I climbed a fell!
