How to support a new author?
Every book, especially a debut, needs readers and supporters. To give my little autistic heroine and her lost wolf the best chance of stretching their legs and running far (further than Urho Kekkonen National Park!), I need your help!
This book is the beginning of the international writing career Iāve dreamed of for years. And you can make a difference!
Pre-Order if you can!
Pre-orders are the best way to support a debut author. They tell bookshops and publishers that thereās already excitement around the book, which means theyāre then more likely to order a big stack or put it in the window, which helps new readers discover it. So even if youāre planning to buy it anyway, ordering it early makes a huge difference.
Iāll get it from the library, though.
Thatās okay! So once the book is out, you can request it from your library. This helps more than you might think. Every time someone borrows my library copy in the UK, I will receive a tiny payment. You get to read it for free, and I get a few pence! Yay!
